In the foothills of Kathmandu, at the end of a rocky dirt road, a small double gate opens into  a courtyard. Through the gate a cobbled path of hundreds of steps leads down a mountain to the workshop producing A Little Good's fair trade certified felt products.

Women from nearby villages arrive here each day to work wool into felt products using their hands.

Certified fair trade means that the working conditions are good, the staff are paid a fair wage and no children or forced labour is employed. For more details on the standards that must be met for World Fair Trade certification visit  The World Fair Trade Organisation.
